Description
I want to turn my scrapbook into a nice sketchbook instead of a place where to dump all the old art, so I submit sketches there from time to time, but these sketches turned out so nice that I want to put them in the regular gallery.
Not sure how common scorpion flies are supposed to be but I've seen them sometimes in the wild, though mostly dead ones. Don't know what's up with that, lol. Still, it's always a cool find, though it's quite some years from the last sighting.
For the trilobite beetle I did a small mistake, I don't think they have antennaes like that.
Drew these with indian ink, and colored with watercolors and with itsy-bitsy-bit of white guache.

I didn't know a thing like the scorpion fly existed, your deviation just educated me ahhahaha I thought it was something you made up, and I thought that was one hell of a wicked mix you made, turns out they are REAL. Crazy!! I obviously haven't seen one, but they look really cool, and in your style, I like how you gave them expressions and gestures, but still stayed true to their anatomy. I love how well you did the exoskeleton of the beetle as well, getting that semi rough looking texture-PERFECT =]
